Italpollina fertilizers are produced with raw materials selected according to the most rigorous parameters. The exclusive production process guarantees the highest quality and safety. In fact, the company has obtained the certification of conformity according to EC Regulation 1069/2009 (N. Authorization ABP833UFERT2), which establishes strict rules for the processing of animal by-products, and is also ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
To dry manure, Italpollina has designed and built an exclusive production plant, unique in the world. The raw materials are dried by a hot air flow (70°C) for 60 minutes: this system guarantees the elimination of any pathogenic potential (e.g. Salmonella, Escherichia coli, Campylobacter, …) and allows useful microorganisms (PGPR Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria) to remain alive and active.
In order to ensure the highest quality and safety to our customers we have adopted an efficent system of traceability. On each pallet, in fact, we print a lot code allowing us to trace every step in the process from the selection of raw materials, through production and distribution. Each lot is subject to chemical and microbiological analysis checking for quality before being put on the market.
